The method

How it works

Three steps, no equipment, no classes to drive to.

  1. 1

    2-minute assessment

Tell us about your dog, your home and the behaviour that's driving you up the wall. Age, breed and how long it's been going on all change the plan you get.

  2. 2

    Your Sprint plan

You get The Obedient Dog Sprint — a sequenced eight-week plan that starts with the one behaviour you picked, instead of a library of videos to dig through.

  3. 3

    10-minute daily sessions

Follow one short lesson a day. Mark it done, and the plan moves forward with you — harder reps only once the easy ones are solid.

Your plan is built from your answers — it takes about two minutes.

Who designed this

Built on certified training standards

Designed to CPDT-KA certification standards · Reward-based methods

The Sprint is written by certified K9 trainers, not generated from generic advice. Every lesson follows the same reward-based approach used in professional practice: one behaviour at a time, short repetitions, and practice in the place the behaviour actually happens — your hallway, your front door, your pavement.

Core principle

Most dogs aren't stubborn. They've just never been shown the behaviour clearly enough, often enough, in the place it matters.

The programme

What's inside the Sprint

The Obedient Dog Sprint is eight weeks of short, sequenced sessions — here's what you get from day one.

  • Short 10-minute daily sessions

Long sessions burn dogs out. Ten focused minutes, once a day, is what actually shifts behaviour.

  • Step-by-step video lessons

Watch the rep, copy the rep. Every lesson is filmed on a phone, at dog height, in a normal home.

  • Progress tracking

Tick off each session and see the streak build — plus what's improved week over week.

  • A plan that adapts

As your dog gets steadier, the plan raises difficulty: more distance, more distraction, longer holds.

  • Built for real homes

Hallways, front doors and busy pavements — not a quiet training hall with no distractions.

How much time per day?

About 10 minutes. Sessions are short on purpose: dogs concentrate better in brief bursts, and you're far more likely to stay consistent.
